## How to use the Bots

First step: choose the type of bot.&#x20;

## Grid Bot

1. **Choose an exchange and connect your wallet**

<figure><img src="/files/ef9VSDFYO5pHyXRXajsA" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

2. **Choose a trading pair**

<figure><img src="/files/5HmNhiVExBJpBPPH55A2" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

3. **Configure your parameters**

<figure><img src="/files/lipU1JUNJBfc5MrPs1Si" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Capital (Margin)**

The amount of USDC allocated to the bot.

* Defines your working collateral
* Higher capital → smoother grid execution
* Impacts notional exposure

Example:

$50 capital with 5x leverage → <mark style="color:$primary;">**$250 notional exposure**</mark>

**Leverage**

Multiplier applied to your capital.

* 1x = no leverage
* 5x = 5× exposure
* Higher leverage:
  * Increases volume efficiency
  * Increases stop-loss/liquidation risk

Leverage determines how fast you generate volume relative to capital.

**Max Loss**

Maximum tolerated loss before the bot automatically stops. Acts as your safety guard.

Example:

Max Loss = $1 → bot stops if total loss (realized + unrealized) reaches $1.

**Target Volume**

Total trading volume the bot will generate before stopping. Example:

Target Volume = $500. The bot cycles trades until $500 volume is reached or Max Loss is triggered.

4. **Choose your strategy**

<figure><img src="/files/Bp3JuYWOHtZPmwRl1ue7" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Aggressive**

* Fastest volume generation
* Tight grid spacing
* \~20 cycles/hour
* Higher stop-loss probability

Best for speed-focused users.

**Balanced (Recommended)**

* Moderate grid spacing
* \~12 cycles/hour
* Good balance between safety and speed

Default option for most users.

**Conservative**

* Widest grid spacing
* \~6 cycles/hour
* Lowest stop-loss risk
* Slower volume generation

Designed for maximum capital protection.

5. **Review & Launch the bot**&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/hkflSvClfWyRMBiJWZyJ" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**6. Monitor your Bot**

<figure><img src="/files/S6L3cevigGAoUHbNDSNF" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Monitor in real time:

* Volume progress
* Fill rate
* Capital usage
* Total PnL
* Fees
* Cost per $1k volume
* Margin & exposure
* Estimated time remaining

You can manually stop the bot at any time.

**Exposure Protection**

If the bot’s <mark style="color:$primary;">**exposure reaches 50%**</mark>, trading automatically pauses.

This prevents excessive directional imbalance and protects your capital.

Trading resumes once exposure normalizes or after manual intervention.
