# Refer and Earn

This guide explains <mark style="color:$primary;">**how to refer friends**</mark> and <mark style="color:$primary;">**earn rewards on the Crypto.com Refer and Earn campaign**</mark>, and <mark style="color:$primary;">**how new users can join it easily**</mark>.

## 1. How to Refer Friends&#x20;

Referring friends allows you to <mark style="color:$primary;">**earn additional rewards**</mark> when your friends onboard and trade.

### Referral Process

#### Step 1 — Invite your friend

Ask your friend to:

* Create a <mark style="color:$primary;">**new Crypto.com account**</mark> using the <mark style="color:$primary;">**Cede signup link:**</mark> [**https://crypto.com/exch/cede**](https://crypto.com/exch/cede)
* Complete the KYC
* Connect their account to Cede Hub

#### Step 2  — Open a Discord Ticket (Referral Claim)

Once your friend has completed the steps:

1. Open a <mark style="color:$primary;">**ticket on Discord:**</mark> [<mark style="color:$primary;">**https://discord.gg/cedehub**</mark>](https://discord.gg/cedehub)
2. Send us <mark style="color:$primary;">**your friend’s EVM wallet address**</mark>

This allows us to:

* Verify the referral
* Attribute the referral reward correctly
* Distribute rewards

#### &#x20;Optional — Using your Cede Hub referral link (for large referrers)

If you think you can <mark style="color:$primary;">**refer a significant number of people**</mark>, you can also use <mark style="color:$primary;">**your Cede Hub referral link**</mark>.

This helps us:

* Track referrals <mark style="color:$primary;">**more easily and accurately**</mark>
* Identify users who:
  * Don’t have a Cede Hub account yet
  * Already have a Cede Hub account but <mark style="color:$primary;">**no Crypto.com account**</mark> (possible with a custom link we can provide you)

This is <mark style="color:$primary;">**optional**</mark>, but <mark style="color:$primary;">**recommended for users with a larger network**</mark>.

If you’d like to use your referral link with a custom link, feel free to reach out on Discord, we can help you set it up properly.

## 2. How to join as a new user (no referral needed)

If you are a <mark style="color:$primary;">**new user**</mark>, you can join the Refer & Earn campaign <mark style="color:$primary;">**without being referred**</mark>.

### Step 1 — Create a Crypto.com account&#x20;

You must create a <mark style="color:$primary;">**new Crypto.com account**</mark> using the official Cede signup link:

⚠️ <mark style="color:$primary;">**Accounts created without this link**</mark> <mark style="color:$primary;">**are not eligible**</mark> for the campaign.

#### Crypto.com Sign-Up Checklist

Complete <mark style="color:$primary;">**all onboarding steps**</mark>:

1. Email registration
2. Phone number verification
3. Passcode setup
4. Identity verification (KYC)

Wait until your account is <mark style="color:$primary;">**fully verified**</mark> before continuing.

### Step 2 — Connect Your Wallet to Cede Hub

1. Go to 👉 <https://app.cedehub.io>
2. Connect your <mark style="color:$primary;">**EVM wallet**</mark>\
   → This wallet will receive rewards

### Step 3 — Connect Your Crypto.com Account

1. Go to 👉 <https://app.cedehub.io/profile>
2. Click <mark style="color:$primary;">**Connect Crypto.com**</mark>
3. Select **“**<mark style="color:$primary;">**Authenticate via Crypto.com (recommended)**</mark>**”**
4. Approve the connection

Make sure the connected account is the one created using the code **cede**.

### Step 4 — Open a Discord Ticket

After everything is connected:

2. Send us your <mark style="color:$primary;">**EVM wallet address**</mark>

This allows us to:

* Verify eligibility
* Grant access to the campaign
